Lavera Repair and Care Hair Serum

Lavera is a well known brand for me already. Everything I’ve tried from them, was a hit. That includes the hair serum from the repair and care line I got to test thanks to Solobiomooi

This hair serum is to be used as an extra treatment for damaged and dry hair and split ends. Nourishing ingredients in this formula include organic avocado oil, macadamia nut oil, wild rose extracts and plant-based keratine.

The test

Using this serum is simple. Just pump 2 times into the palm of your hand, and work into dry or towel-dried hair. There’s no rinsing out. The bottle might not be big, two pump applications are enough for my half long hair. This will last quite a while.

Lavera repair and care hair serum

I personally have very curly hair. Typical for curls is they quickly can get dry, dull and frizzy. That means I can always use some extra hair care. If I don’t want to look like an exploded frizzy mess, I have to daily comb my hair wet and put in a product, before letting it air dry. For years I’ve been using a styling mousse (before, synthetic and toxic, now natural and good for me). With this hair serum, it turns out I can go without mousse as well. I use the serum to keep my curls under control, and as long as I don’t go through my hair too much with my hands, it is enough. For more special occasions, where I need extra staying power, I still use mousse though.

I’ve read on Lavera’s website you can also use this serum to protect your hair from the heat of the dryer. As I leave my hair dry naturally, I’ll let you guys test that out for yourselves. Lavera also has other items in the repair and care line, and advises to use them all together. But I can tell you, the serum works by itself too!

My hair feels very soft when using this, so that is an extra bonus. I think it’s great to discover different hair products that work just fine without having silicones in them. Regular brands can learn a lot on that part. Another good product from Lavera!

  1. I desperately want to find a replacement hair serum. I am struggling to find something light enough for my fine hair. This is very reasonably priced x

  2. I love it. I have thin, but frizzy hair and it really helps to make them softer and smoother :)

Thanks for stopping by! I'm always curious to hear what you think...
